Reviews and Awards for UTVs

"Gr 3-6–The history of a variety of off-roading vehicles is traced in this series, and interesting trivia is presented about each type. The dune buggy inspired the NASA lunar rover; the Jeep Cherokee has won awards for best four-wheeler and the longest ramp to dirt jump off a dirt bike is 425 feet. Colorful photographs accompany the dense text. Safety tips are included, but some readers will find them to be didactic. While they do not present much new information compared to similar series on the market, these titles will be of use to those with interest in the topics.
VERDICT: These volumes should be considered only where vehicle collections need refreshing."
