About Us:

Mitchell Lane Publishers was founded in 1992 by Barbara Mitchell, a former teacher and reading specialist. In January 2017, Mitchell Lane Publishers was purchased by Phil Comer and Associates. Mr. Comer has over 30 years of experience in the school and library industry as a former owner of a large book distributorship.

All Mitchell Lane books are developed to the highest standards by experienced authors, editors and designers. All library bound and paperback editions are manufactured in the United States and are also available digitally as hosted eBooks or downloadable PDFs. 

At Mitchell Lane, our mission is to inspire learning through reading. Our goal is to create children's books that entertain, educate and foster a lifelong love of reading and learning in every child.
