Collection: Dance and Fitness Trends
This contemporary eight-title series explores eight dance and/or fitness trends including history, specifics of the actual dance/workout, and the philosophy behind it. The physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual benefits are explored and the young reader is encouraged to draw conclusions as to the appropriateness of the activity in their life. The reader is exposed to the people who are involved in each dance or workout and why the programs are popular today. Each dance/fitness title has been developed to address many of the Common Core specific goals, higher level skills, and progressive strategies for middle grade and junior high level students.
