Although the book does include the most current record holder for achievements, such as points scored in a single game and overall, championships and MVP awards won, and blocks, it also details who previously held the record, who has a chance of taking the record, and as a bonus, players who almost beat the record. Readers get the best of the past, present, and future. Well-known players, including Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, and LeBron James, are featured and Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, and Magic Johnson are also included. Add in the pictures, and this book will be hard to keep on shelves. VERDICT A must-have for all schools, and if this is any indicator of what the other titles in the series might be like, consider purchasing them all.
